Martin Llavaneras and Elena Matamoro<\/strong> are the resident artists in this program promoted by the Centro de Arte Fundaci\u00f3n Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Jove (FMJJ)<\/strong> and Acci\u00f3n Cultural Espa\u00f1ola (AC\/E)<\/strong>. This artistic residency aims primarily to facilitate cultural exchange between Spain and Latin America, as well as to generate collaborative networks that strengthen cultural interrelations between both regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The residency period lasts six weeks, from November to December 2024, and will take place at Casa Mucha Guadalajara<\/strong>. Each selected participant receives financial support of 1,500 euros for daily expenses<\/strong>, 1,500 euros for project production costs<\/strong>, travel expenses (Spain\u2013Mexico\u2013Spain)<\/strong>, travel medical insurance<\/strong>, accommodation and workspace<\/strong>, assistance and support during the project<\/strong>, as well as promotion of the project and a public presentation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Martin Llavaneras<\/strong> (El Segri\u00e0, 1983) lives and works in Barcelona. He studied Fine Arts at UPV (Bilbao, Spain)<\/strong>, HTW (Berlin, Germany)<\/strong>, and UB (Barcelona, Spain)<\/strong>. He works mainly in the field of sculpture, often in relation to the natural and industrial transformation processes of inorganic, biological, and linguistic materials. The artist studies these cycles and intervenes in them to modify their dynamics and participate in the management, arrangement, and shaping of these materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
