Through processes of gathering, fusing, firing, and reassembling, Izquierdo brings movement to to what would otherwise remain fixed: moons in mitosis, unfolding and supporting one another; angelic beings of clay and bone that oscillate between the magical and the precarious; or synthetic flowers collected in the vicinity of cemeteries to be incorporated into pending structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
