Ángela Suárez’s work is based on a visual exploration that combines commercial and editorial commissions with independent personal projects, establishing a dialogue between contemporary aesthetics and classic photographic narrative. Although her practice includes collaborations with brands and publications such as Loewe, Dior, Apartamento, and Self Service, her interest extends to the creation of more personal works. Her books Blurry Days/Sharp Nights (Forma Editions, London 2021) and Good Intentions (Pomegranate Press, New York 2023) have been distributed in international bookstores such as Dashwood Books (NY), The Mop Foundation (A Coruña), and After Eight Books (Paris). In November 2025, she presented her latest publication, Birds of Paradise, at OFR (Paris), published and distributed internationally by Apartamento Publishing (Barcelona).
In 2022, she participated in her first group exhibition, Madrid Diversa, curated by the Madrid City Council at CentroCentro. In 2023, her work was recognized with the Photovogue Global Talent Open Call award, which led to her participation in a group exhibition at the Base Milano cultural center (Milan). In 2024, she had her first solo exhibition, Initiation at Belmonte (Madrid), and that same year, she participated in the group exhibition, Spirit, which opened at Domicile Gallery (Tokyo), reaffirming her presence on the international contemporary art circuit. This year, 2026, now represented by Belmonte gallery, she presents a new proposal at ARCO Madrid alongside sculptor Andrés Izquierdo.
